Great restaurant hidden in plain sight on Dayton Blvd. I have been there 3 times, and have had the same thing (the Hot Brown), all three times. The people that I went with had the same items they previously had also. Great country menu, wonderful sweet tea, and excellent customer service make this place a must visit when in the neighborhood.

Have came here a few times and never been disappointed, the means are great and plentiful, If ya want a really good meal this is the place to come to. Thank you for great service.

Read the reviews and decided to stop here on our trip from Michigan. Was a little underwhelmed and surprised at what we got because this was rated super high. My ham and cheese omelet had almost no ham, a bit of cheese sprinkled on top but none inside and the potatoes i had to get on the side because it doesnt come with were lite for a $2 additional cost. Staff was nice but it seemed maybe an off day since a few other customers had issues as well. Oh well maybe next time.

The mature waitress's are extremely friendly on the other hand the not so mature & younger are well ...... I'll leave it right there like they did me!

You can't find a better mom and pop dine in carry out or even call in restaurant. Very warm friendly and expedient.

It's probably the most honest spot in Red Bank. Not fancy, but if you like diner style breakfasts, they're fast, friendly, and economical. Don't expect anything with salmon or capers, and you'll not likely be disappointed. Coffee is hot and keeps coming. Source; I have a standing breakfast engagement here weekly.

Well known establishment. Food is good. Menu is in no way complicated. I get breakfast there alot. ...but they don't quite "get it right" all too often.

Have visited here several times in past few weeks for breakfast. Excellent prices for early breakfast special. $3.50 for 2 eggs, and bacon or sausage, and 1 pancake, and grits, and coffee! Love that and can't beat it.

I just had the worst experience at this Restaurant. The waitress that seated us was pleasant and let us know that our waitress would be right with us. Our waitress rounded the corner with a big hello I thought was meant for me. I said hello she glared at me and went to the table behind me. She passed by us many times spoke to everyone except us. The other waitress seeing her ignore us came and took out order. We were the only people of color in the restaraunt. I asked the pleasant waitress. Who gets the tip? That's her station she says. I left her a tip but really shouldn't have.

Good service, great food. The restaurant is not very big, so it makes for some tight spaces, but this is also helps create the classic southern and family-oriented atmosphere that the restaurant perfects. If you're looking for REAL southern food (i.e. you can choose mac-and-cheese as a side "vegetable") this is the place to go!

This place is awesome.... great wait staff and huge amounts of food. The person that said something about small portions must be crazy...this is just one hot dog smothered in fixings. AMAZING!!!!!

This is an unassuming little "mom and pop" restaurant that I've driven past dozens of times without giving it a second thought. I wish I'd stopped here sooner, though! There's nothing chic or flashy about the place, but it does down home cooking well. I went for Sunday breakfast, and I say breakfast because this certainly wasn't brunch, and got a meal my grandma would have been proud to serve herself. This place knows what it is, owns it, and does it well.

If your wanting a restaurant with words like "gaint" "fried" "smothered" listed more than 20 times in a menu then this place is for you! The food is good, but nothing any proper southern hasn't had way to many times before. So if your looking to scratch that southern cooking itch then check this place out.

It's a small country restaurant, excellent service, very good food, and regular costomers who visit daily. It's a nice place to eat.

Southern Traditions Restaurant is a really sensational place to enjoy a great tasty warm meal! The dessert offered is great to! The staff is very friendly and considerate of all customers that enter the doors of the restaurant! The atmosphere in this restaurant is relaxed and pleasant! I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone desiring a great meal! This is a magnificent place to eat at for sure!

Southern Traditions Restaurant was a stupendous location to get a home style lunch the proportions were adequate. The food was hot and delicious. The staff were friendly courteous and helpful. The restaurant and its facilities were clean and well lit. The cost were very well priced.

Good, reasonably priced country cooking. Eat there fairly frequently.

This place is like home to me. The ladies there take such good care of me and always make sure I leave with a full belly. One of the few truly southern places left around, with true southern hospitality.
